Welcome! On behalf of the administration, faculty, staff and student body, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school’s website.

I am excited about the 2010-2011 school year and believe that it holds great promise for our entire school. Many of the initiatives that we have taken in our academic programs, extra-curricular activities and improvements to our campus, are beginning to pay dividends. The combination of an excellent curriculum, tremendous extra-curricular and athletic programs, a commitment to technology and safe school climate makes us an elite High School. In fact, Conemaugh Township High School was recently selected as a U.S. News & World Report 2010 Bronze Award Winner and is listed as one of the “Best High Schools in America.”

We are also fortunate to have a community which values and supports educational excellence. Conemaugh Township High School is most proud of our outstanding PSSA test scores and for having one of the highest college SAT score averages in the tri-county area.

However, programs and physical features are not what make us great. Conemaugh Township Area High School is a special place because of the quality of people who enter our doors each and every day. Staff members go out of their way to make our students’ educational experiences more rewarding and personal, not for self-recognition, but because they care about each child. They understand that through encouraging words, a smile and a few extra minutes of their time, a difference will be made for each and every student.
