CTASD Alumni

For the past 75 years, we have been educating students who’ve used the skills they learned at CTASD to succeed in life. We are proud of our graduates and want to extend an invitation to them to reconnect with former classmates, network with current and retired professionals, and influence the next generation coming out of Conemaugh.

Each month we will showcase the successes of our alumni by highlighting a different graduate or graduating class. While success looks different in different situations, we want to create an opportunity to acknowledge the thread that ties them all together.

Alumni Highlight

Danyel Lohr, a former Conemaugh Township student, has many fond memories from her high school experience. Following her graduation, she attended college at UPJ where she initially majored in nursing. After exiting the program early, she went on to explore other careers that interested her.

While reminiscing about her time spent at the Conemaugh Township, Lohr noted that she had several cherished memories. Some of her favorite moments included her cheering career throughout high school where she won many competitions with her squad. She also showed great appreciation for her teachers, as they spent countless hours planning and running student council activities, building leadership and organizational skills, and providing her with valuable advice for the future. According to Lohr, she “loved all of her teachers because they were supportive in so many ways.”

Currently, Danyel Lohr lives in Jerome, Pennsylvania. Although Lohr’s initial desire was to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, she found a new passion in the field of dentistry. She now works as a dental assistant at Dr. Chaney’s office and loves her job.
