Helpful Information
In accordance with the school code, the board must conduct a formal performance assessment of the superintendent on an annual basis. As part of this performance assessment, the superintendent/board must establish measurable objectives (goals) to be achieved during the year. Based on the Conemaugh Township Board of School Directors’ review and evaluation of the superintendent and her agreed-upon objective performance standards, the board has declared that the superintendent has successfully achieved and exceeded the mutually agreed-upon goals and objectives as established for the 2025–2026 school term. Therefore, the superintendent has been rated as proficient.
The listed below are the superintendent’s goals for the 2026–2027 school year.
- Investigate opportunities to grow District enrollment by strengthening community partnerships and actively promoting the District’s academic and extracurricular achievements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive written curriculum framework for every course and subject area in grades K–12 that is aligned to the PA Academic Standards, assessment anchors, and eligible content, where applicable.
- Continue with the current cost containment initiative without compromising quality of education or safety of students and staff.
- Identify disconnects and knowledge gaps of district employees and community members with the “business end” of operating the school district and provide opportunities to educate and fill those gaps.
- Create an administrative organizational structure with clear and separate delineation of education responsibilities from the “business end” of operating the school district.
