CTASD Alumni

For the past 75 years, we have been educating students who’ve used the skills they learned at CTASD to succeed in life. We are proud of our graduates and want to extend an invitation to them to reconnect with former classmates, network with current and retired professionals, and influence the next generation coming out of Conemaugh.

Each month we will showcase the successes of our alumni by highlighting a different graduate or graduating class. While success looks different in different situations, we want to create an opportunity to acknowledge the thread that ties them all together.

Alumni Highlight

Jenilee Lasure, a former student at Conemaugh Township, graduated in 1999. Following her high school career, Lasure attended Slippery Rock University and received both a bachelor of science degree in athletics training in 2002 and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2007. She then went on to work in outpatient physical therapy clinics, as well as skilled nursing facilities.

Looking back on her high school years, Lasure noted that her most treasured memories were playing soccer, running track, participating in lip sync dances, and attending Friday night football games. She also mentioned that her favorite teacher was Ms. Pepoy, a supportive educator with whom she shared similar interests. Lasure spoke about how Ms. Pepoy provided assistance for her future career aspirations, stating, “she was my inspiration for becoming an athletics trainer.”

Jenilee Lasure currently resides in Davidsville, Pennsylvania with her husband, Matt Lasure. The couple has four daughters: Addison, Payton, Bradyn, and Brooklyn. Lasure now works at Heritage Ridge Senior Living as a director of rehab, and she has been the athletics trainer for Conemaugh Township since 2019.
