Welcome letter
August 28, 2023
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great pride that the Conemaugh Township Area School District continues to support a program for our students and families. CTASD and Reaching Educational Achievements with Clinical Mental Health (REACH) established a partnership during the 2021–2022 school year to provide social supports services including clinical mental health counseling for the students in the district. This program continues through the 2023–2024 school year because of the tremendous benefit it provides our students. CTASD has provided the opportunity for all students to have access to these supports with parent/guardian consent. Look for REACH at district events and parent/teacher conferences. REACH staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. There is not an issue too big or too small to seek out support and we welcome all discussion on what may help your child succeed socially and emotionally. We encourage you to reach out at any time during the school year. You can connect to us through your school counselor or directly through the websites listed below. We thank you for supporting the emotional wellness of your child.
Sincerely,
Julia Dello, NCC, LPC

Getting Started

REACH School-Based Counseling is partnering with Conemaugh Township Area School District. REACH provides clinical mental health services to all students in the school setting year-round, equipping the whole child with skills for success.
Our professionals can work together with the Conemaugh Township Area School District, community resources, agencies, families and natural support systems, foster care families, and others to create a team of support. Our services include individual counseling, family involvement, small group counseling, crisis assessment interventions, and a texting resource. All services are confidential.
Contact the Tribe Line texting hotline at (814) 248-0726. This hotline allows any student or parent/guardian to connect with a licensed professional counselor via text or call seven days a week.
To begin counseling, you or your child can contact REACH directly, or the school counselor or SAP team can assist you. A parent or guardian must give consent before counseling services begin. We will then schedule an intake with the parent/guardian over the phone or in person.
For more information, contact us by calling the elementary school at (814) 479-4080 or the junior/senior high school. You can also email Madison Ramsdorfer-Cover, LSW, or Sarah Mientus, MA, LPC.
